Blood Alcohol Pharmacokinetics and Retrograde Extrapolation

The purpose of this webinar is to provide education regarding alcohol pharmacokinetics and blood alcohol retrograde extrapolations. Alcohol pharmacokinetics topics will include how ethanol is absorbed, distributed, metabolized and eliminated by the body as it relates to Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault (DFSA) investigations. Retrograde Extrapolation topics will include guidelines for performing these calculations, recent recommendations from the toxicology community and how CBI’s policies have changed to reflect these recommendations.
