Working with crime victims who have experienced trauma requires enhanced skills related to communication, setting and maintaining boundaries, responding to client emotions, and how to present challenging information in a trauma-informed manner.
Please join Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center during National Crime Victim Rights Week to learn more about the ethical considerations related to working with victims of crime. A brief overview of the neurobiology of trauma will be provided, but the emphasis of this training will be to help develop your skills in providing effective and ethical services to victims of crime who have experienced trauma.
